Park View Clean-up – Abercynon Ward

A community clean-up has taken place in the Park View area of Abercynon Ward. 20181123_093941

The clean-up is the latest in the schedule of clean-up days to improve the look of our streets across the Ward. It follows the cleaning of the Farm Wood Path last month where over ten bags of rubbish and litter was cleared from the woodland path. To find out more about the Farm Wood clean-up day click here.

The R.C.T Council Streetcare team and a team from Trivallis Housing Association spent the day in Park View carrying out improvements. The teams picked litter, cleaned 20181122_112853.jpgfootpaths and cut back overgrowth through the area. Further improvement works to footpaths and roads were also identified.

Look out for more community clean-up days across Abercynon Ward throughout 2019. We will continue to make efforts to improve our local environment working with the Council, local residents and organisations.
